Venetian Heritage financed the restoration of the triumphal arch of the staircase, from 1544, of the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. The staircase, which leads to the Chapter Hall, a meeting place for plenary meetings, is divided into two monumental flights of stairs that rejoin the ground floor. There are two arches from which these ramps branch off and both are made up of Corinthian columns and bas-reliefs from the 16th century. In particular, the new renovated arch portrays the biblical figures of Judith killing Holofernes, the mythological ones of Neptune, David and Goliath and some winged cherubs with baskets of fruit and flowers.
