St. Mark’s Treasure is composed of precious liturgical objects, which go from roman antiquity to byzantine art and arrive as far as Arabic art. Venetian Heritage funded the restoration of a valuable silver reliquary, part of the treasure. Decorating its sides are fourteen Saints of the Oriental Church depicted under a row of arches. The restoration involved the removal of surface tarnish and the repair of several broken parts.
