Venetian Heritage in association with the Soprintendenza Speciale per il Polo Museale di Venezia supported and organised an exhibition of the bronze antependium by Nicolò Roccatagliata, restored thanks to the contribution of the Casa Vhernier. Previously positioned on the altar in the sacristy of the church of San Moisè in Venice, where it had been seriously damaged by salt from the high tides that often flood the church, the antependium, made in 1633, is considered by critics to be Roccatagliata’s masterpiece.
