Venetian Heritage Awards 2015


Venetian Heritage established an international award dedicated to people who have committed themselves, in Venice and abroad, to the preservation, promotion and protection of the Venetian artistic heritage.

In 2015 the winners were:

Peter Marino, for having financed the restoration of the three statues of Adam and Eve and Mars, works by Antonio Rizzo preserved in the Museum of the Doge’s Palace, Venice.
Gabriella Belli, Director of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, for the visionary new direction of the city’s museums.
